Fun Lore-Friendly Quest Mods?

Hey awesome people who read this blog. I am really in need of some new questly type things to do in Oblivion, so I thought I would ask you guys if you have any suggestions. My main requirement is that it can at least plausibly fit into the lore. As you guys know if you have been checking this blog for a bit, I really like the Lost Spires mod. I know that the whole Warlock thing is made up, but the way it's presented makes it feel like it fits into the existing world, you know? I would also ask that any suggestions not involve sex in any way. I don't expect to get all kinds of sex mod related answers, but I just want to put it out there, that I am really not into that in my game, like ever. I downloaded a mod a while back thinking ok, cool. Nocturnal's plane of Oblivion. But then it just got strangely sex related, which to me made no sense, and I had to uninstall that one.

I would also love suggestions for new mods with cool places to explore or with really interesting dungeons or something. Basically, I love Oblivion so much, but right now I just kind of feel like I've done it all to death, and really need a new thing.

So just please give me any suggestions for cool new things to do and places to check out. Try to keep it at least some what lore-friendly and no sex. I am not opposed to nudity if it makes logical sense for the story and isn't just because it can exist. An example I can make up about nudity that would seem logical to me could be that a mod contained water nymphs or something, and they were naked because why would water nymphs really need clothes. Probably a bad example because how are water nymphs particularly lore-friendly, but whatever.

Thanks to anyone who answers. :D

  2. I can vouch for Snu's Dungeons and the HESU mod collection. Not really new landscapes or dungeons, but they change existing ones, so they're worth a go. Also Elsweyr Deserts of Anequina, if you haven't already tried it.

For quest mods and dungeons... well... I've downloaded a ton of them, but haven't really played many.

  3. Thank you. I do have Elsweyr, but have a surprisingly hard time exploring the area, as my game crashes somewhat frequently while in Elsweyr. I'll check out the others soon. :)

  4. The mods by Arthmoor, may be? Like Molapi, Reedstand, Vergayun, Urasek and others... There are new lore-stile villages with some quests.

  5. Thank you. I'll download those later. I have had them at one point, but not in a while. I don't remember quests except at one, so it's nice to know that others do as well. I think Reedstand is the one I'm remembering, but I'm not sure.

  6. I quite enjoyed Thievery In the Imperial City. Not a huge questline, and the end hints to a sequel that will never be, but it was a fun experience all around. Nothing stuck out to me as being lore-breaking. The mod does have a quest wherein you pilfer the original, uncensored version of The Real Barenziah, which does have a sex scene in it. However there's no need to read said book if you don't want to, and at least imo it was funnier than anything to see this racier bit of Elder Scrolls history. But I get if that's not something you're okay with, I've definitely had the experience of coming across weird, unnecessary sex stuff in quest mods- on that note, stay away from The Golden Crest...

  7. Thank you for the suggestion and the advice. I'm currently playing as Luna, who isn't a thief, but if I play as S'Dara or Sadi the Swift anytime soon, I will definitely check Thievery in the Imperial City out.

  8. I can also suggest The Well of Minlorada by Velorien and Mannimarco Resurrection - Light and Dark by MrUniq, if you haven't already played this mods.
